Over the Hop Beer Festival – Parsons Green
This two-day festival celebrates the hops in all their British glory.
Breweries from across the UK and London, including a host of micro-breweries, will be on hand to tempt you with their finest selection of golden, blonde and IPA beers, with a load of dark drops also thrown in for good measure.
The White Horse’s famous BBQ will be cranking out all the usual char-grilled goodies, such as burgers and hog roast, while rock/folk outfit The Stealers will play on the Saturday afternoon to make sure you’re entertained while you sup.

Uni Music League Comp
It’s the fourth quarter final in this public-voted battle of the bands comp featuring The High Commissioners, Rubin and The Groovy Tuesdays, Jack Rosies and JOS.
The winner gets to record an EP, a slot at this summer’s Wilderness fest and Koko support gig, and a photo and video shoot, too.

This ocean liner-themed party harks back to when sailing across the ocean in one of the biggest ships man could design was the pinnacle of glamour and excess.
A luxury clipper will be transformed into a Thirties cruise liner, with cocktails, champagne, live floor shows, gambling tables, dancing and live bands.

Light Show – South Bank
Sculptures and artworks from the Sixties onwards combine to illustrate and manipulate light and its effects.
There’s pieces you can walk around, through, as well as interactive ones.
There’s an expert-led tour on Mar 21, Light Bulb Moments on Mar 27, about the lives of our illuminating aids, and Poets After Dark, with 10 poets’ specially commissioned pieces accompanying the exhibition.

Michael Caine
One of the biggest movie stars ever, born and bred Londoner Sir Michael Caine, as he is now known, is the focus of this exhibition of never-before-seen photos.
This insightful celebration of his life and work looks at how the cockney lad turned into a Hollywood legend and celebrated British institution.

It’s the UK’s biggest daily pub crawl and has been since 2009.
