About London Touch Rugby 2013
While long established within the Australasian community, the competition attracts a wide range of players from around the world. We provide a well-organised, affordable, and fun competition for the hundreds of travelling antipodeans in West London and even further a field.
Each team in our competition comprises of 7 players on the field and up to 5 reserves. Players can be changed throughout the season at any time and as frequently as you wish, however you may only have 12 players per night.
GAME DAYS & TIMES:
The Touch Rugby competition is, played on Wednesday evenings [[Mixed & Mens] Games are played between 6.30pm – 9.00pm each night. Games are 30 minutes in duration (15 mins each way). Times are rotated weekly so every team should expect to have game start times ranging from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. There are occasions where due to weather conditions, your night may be changed/postponed to a Friday night or Sunday afternoon – these games will be clearly noted in each draw. The competition has a break at the beginning of July during the Pamplona Festival. This also will be clearly marked on the draw.
MENS COMPETITION:
There is one men’s competition run on Wednesday evenings. Registration is open to teams only.
MIXED COMPETITION:
The mixed touch competition is run on Wednesday evenings. Mixed teams must have at least two females on the field at all times. Registration is open to teams and to individual players.
REGISTERING:
You have two options to compete in the competition:
1. Register a team. On game nights you may have a maximum squad of 12 players – however your squad can change during the season.
2. Register as a single player for Mixed Touch Rugby. You pay a one-off fee £45. We then place you in a team with other single players to compete throughout the season.

LOCATION:
The London Touch Rugby and Netball competition is held at Old Actonians Sports Ground which is location in Gunnersbury Drive, Acton.
The grounds are a short 5 min walk from Acton Town Underground Station and are conveniently located just off the North Circular Road (A406).

DIRECTIONS FROM UNDERGROUND:
Turn left out of the Acton Town Tube Station and walk down Gunnersbury Lane for 2 minutes. When you reach the traffic Lights, and take the first street after the traffic lights on your right. Old Actonians is then 50 meters up the road on your left hand side.
