The owner of Jersey Joe’s Pizzeria in San Diego has told the Huffington Post that he is not the man in a photograph circulating the internet, showing a white haired, middle aged man masturbating in what looks to be a kitchen.
The humble pizzeria apparently proudly displays its ‘A’ rating from the San Diego’s Department of Environmental Health, having reportedly received a score of 98 in its most recent, June 3rd evaluation.
Indeed Mr Giusepp Scire, the proprietor in question denies that the photograph was even taken in his pizzeria at all.
“It is not me [in the photo] and that’s not my pizzeria,” Scire told HuffPost Weird News, before offering up what, in our opinion at least, is a fairly limp (pardon the pun) excuse.
Scire told the Huff that he’d recently fired two guys and that he may be the victim of one or both of these disgruntled employees.
The issue reached something of a climax last week, when anonymous users of the website 4Chan posted working links to various, apparently random webcams. It was then, various users claim, that they came across live streaming footage of Mr Scire going to town on his Joe… so to speak.
In the background of this video (which, for obvious issues of decency and propriety we shan’t put on here) can be seen the kitchen, complete with all the accouterments that you would expect from a bustling pizzeria.
The explosion of chatter on the interwebs sparked a wave of amateur investigative journalists from across San Diego to descend on Jersey Joe’s. One man even live-streamed the aftermath of a rather sticky (sorry) encounter with Scire, with the pizzeria owner appearing to become irate after being confronted with a photograph of the alleged incident.
Scire obviously just needed to unload a bit…
The Huff sent their very own reporter into Jersey Joe’s in the aftermath of this unsavoury incident and claim that the unfortunately named ‘white slice’ actually wasn’t too bad.
Let this be a lesson to anyone out there with too much spare time in the kitchen, if you’re going to give yourself a low-five, maybe turn the security camera feed off first.
