Lemmy is not known for his political outbursts, and Motorhead’s music has rarely ventured in to the world of political comment either. But in an interview with Rolling Stone, Lemmy said: “Please, please don’t vote for Mitt Romney. Fuck him. Repeal abortion law is the first thing he’ll do. Fucking monster”
The US votes today to elect either President Obama to a second term in the White House, or Republican challenger Mitt Romney.
Polls have shown it to be one of the closest elections in recent history, with over $2 billion dollars having been spent on the two parties’ campaigns.
