Naked German on Google Street View

A naked German man was snapped climbing out of the boot of a car on Google Street View.

The bizarre image discovered by a German newspaper shows a naked man in the boot of a Mercedes which is parked in the driveway, while a dog stretches out lazily nearby.

The picture was snapped by Street View outside a house in Mannheim, south-west Germany.

Google Street View has only recently launched in Germany.

Google has removed the image from its Street View website.

The exact story behind the image of the naked man climbing in/out of a car boot is unknown but has triggered a rash of theories online.

One Internet user told the CNET website he believed the image was “an illusion” and that the man is fixing a brake light and is actually wearing shorts.
