Not only have the Americans given us these world famous goods, but they have also put forward some great parings, one of which includes eating hot and flavoursome Buffalo Wings whilst watching American Football.
To mark this iconic paring, FRANK’S RedHot has teamed up with the NFL and their Tailgate Party to give us a real taste of the States this Autumn. The first event, the Fan Rally, will take place in London’s Trafalgar Square on 27 October and will include cheerleaders, NFL legends, top musical acts and a mini American football pitch.
There will be a host of food stands including Grillstock, who has partnered with FRANK’S RedHot to serve authentic American Buffalo wings made with delicious FRANK’S RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce. As well as the great food, there is also a chance to get involved in the game, with both players and coaching staff from the New England Patriots (above) and the St Louis Rams in attendance.
For the lucky few, who managed to get tickets to the Rams vs. Patriots game on 28 October, there will be a good old fashioned all American tailgating party taking place in the car park at Wembley, where the game is being held.
Tailgating is a big social gathering popular in America pre football games, where friends and family come together in a car park to eat good food, drink and be merry, before they go and cheer on their team.
