Getting there
Car
If you’re driving from London you need to take the M40 motorway and get off at junction 8 or 9. Parking in Oxford is limited.
Coach
National Express runs a coach service from London’s Victoria station to Oxford. The journey takes around two hours and return tickets cost around £20.
Train
First Great Western trains run from Paddington station direct to Oxford. The journey takes about an hour.
Getting around
Oxford is a compact city and is easy to explore on foot. All the sights are pretty close to one another.
