Brits are already placing bets on whether or not Kate Middleton and Prince William will divorce – even though the pair are not even married yet.
William and Kate’s wedding is set to take place on April 29, but cynical Brits are already betting that they will split up.
People are also wagering bets on the length of Kate’s wedding dress train, how many minutes late she’ll turn up at the church and the possibility of a tube strike on the day.
Most people bet around £3.50, according to an MSNBC report.
“There’s a real tradition of betting on what the royals will do next,” said Darren Haines, a spokesman for bookmaker Paddy Power.
“The U.K. has a strange fascination with the royals.”
Associated Press has revealed that most bookmakers are running bets on the divorce question, with certain odds that Kate Middleton and Prince William will make it to their 10th anniversary.
