What baffles me about London is where are all the Londoners?!

London’s best-kept secret is its pubs. The old, traditional, unchanged pubs are absolutely beautiful.

When I want to chill out I head to Hampstead Heath for a long walk, which is pretty much always in the rain, all-year round.

My favourite place for a drink is [hip musos pub] The Social on Little Portland Street, Soho.

For when you’re hungover in London there’s nothing better than a flat white. It’s the coffee of choice.

What gets me up in the morning is the supermarket next door’s squeaky garage doors. I’m going to buy them some oil for it one of these days.

The first thing I think of in the morning is how much I love sleep!

My perfect weekend is … I present a show on BBC Radio1 on weekend afternoons, and I absolutely love doing that. Before the shows, my ideal situation is to chill out with my wife for a bit, then walk through the parks on the way to work.

Then food in Soho afterwards, followed by a gig or going to see something good in the cinema. Easy! More often than not, though, I’m on a train to Wales or off to DJ somewhere.

The biggest faux pas I’ve made recently, I told uber-cool producers Disclosure that I really liked their album, when they haven’t actually released an album yet. I was thinking of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs’ album, Trouble. Obviously!

The last naughty thing I did was had some chocolate, and I was supposed to be having a healthy week.

Five words that sum up London … Big, exciting, beautiful, busy, confusing.
