Former Manchester City kit man Stephen Aziz hit out at Mancini in a series of tweets that were swiftly deleted from his account.

In these, he hit out saying that Mancini was “arrogant, vein, self-centred”, that he had “no manners”, was “a piece of work” and that getting a “good morning” out of him was nigh on impossible .

“Some of Mancini’s traits really made going in to work a grind,” he added.

Aziz did compliment the club though saying that they were a pleasure to work for and he heaped praise on the players that he worked with, too.

Mancini was unceremoniously sacked this morning after a poor season in which the Blues surrendered the Premier League title to rivals Manchester United, finished bottom of their Champions League group and lost the FA Cup final to Wigan in dramatic stoppage fashion last weekend.
