This one plays on the bromance/peer pressure angle again, with a bloke who wants a beer and his mate who doesn’t and says so with a “Yeah, nah”. Yeah, he wants a good night, but no he doesn’t want a beer.
Cue Meatloaf’s I Would Do Anything for Love, flash forward of the good times they’d have together anyway, and you have a bloke exercising his right to chose not to drink and his mate accepting that.
