The long established event, billed as London’s biggest free travel show, regularly attracts 10,000-plus Saturday visitors who, we always say, come along “to book, not look”.

The $1 billion-plus STA Travel Group employs nearly 2,000 people across 12 different countries, sends two million passengers globally on their trips, and enjoys an ancestry that, like TNTs, has strong links to young people from Australia and New Zealand undertaking adventure-filled trips to Europe and beyond.

Commenting on the newly forged partnership, STA Travel UK managing director Glen Mintrim said: “We are delighted to be working with TNT on the travel show. Both STA Travel and TNT are about helping adventurous young people start their adventure. Both organisations cater for an ever-widening community of international globetrotters, and have more than 30 years’ experience in fulfilling the travel dreams and aspirations of young and young-at-heart adventurers.”

Kevin Ellis, managing director of Startrack Media – which owns the TNT magazine, digital and travel show brand – said: “Year in and year out our loyal readers turn up to the TNT Travel Show in their thousands to bring their travel plans alive. The opportunity to improve their experience by giving them on the spot access to a world-leading service like STA Travel’s was simply too good to miss.”

The 2014 Show, offering free entry to the first 5,000 people who register, will be on 1 March at the Design Centre, Islington.
