Taking over the festival’s gigantic Big Top venue on Sunday 31 July this comedy extravaganza is set to be one of the highlights of the Stand Up To Cancer campaign that culminates in October with an epic night of live TV and fundraising up and down the country.
Acts confirmed so far for the Stand Up To Cancer Comedy Gala are Mock The Week regular Stewart Francis, award-winning musical comedian Vikki Stone, disturbingly exciting Bobby Mair, hilariously energetic Kojo, the whirling ball of talent that is Matt Richardson plus David Morgan, Beth Vyse, Patrick Monaghan and more.
Be a part of this blistering bonanza of comedy trailblazers and feel doubly good inside as all money raised goes towards transforming the lives of cancer patients and their families.
Launched in the UK in 2012, Stand Up To Cancer has already raised more than £25million to accelerate progress in cancer research and speed breakthroughs from labs to patients.
All the money raised for Stand Up To Cancer will fund translational research. This takes developments in the lab and transforms them into brand new tests and treatments for cancer patients.
Tickets for the Stand Up To Cancer Comedy Gala are just £15 and are on sale now at www.greenwichcomedyfestival.co.uk
