LHC have found a rare particle decay, which casts doubt on Supersymmetry – a theory that outlines irregularities in the theory of subatomic physics.
Supersymmetry is all about the existence of giant particles and makes out that planets could rotate faster than subatomic physics would allow.
As well as huge particles, the physicists have alluded to the fact that there could be galaxies containing dark matter created with super particles.
This concept is in serious trouble since tests involving muons. LHC has measured the decay between a particle known as Bs Meson.
Apparently, for every billion times the Bs Meson decays it only does so in this way three times.
Cambridge professor Val Gibson, the leader of investigation team said to the BBC that the new findings are “putting our supersymmetry theory colleagues in a spin”.
