I went on a trip last winter to a tiny village just north of Agadir. I had never been surfing before, done a lot of wakeboarding, but wanted to give it a go. I booked in on a package trip with my girlfriend and decided to stay with a surf camp in Taghazout – Surf Berbere. A friend had recommended that I give it a go and that was it.
The service was excellent – food was basic but lots of it and Youssef was a bit of a grumpy legend! We did a day at Imsouane, a trip to paradise valley and visited the souk – ticked all the boxes in just under a week.
Am I any good at surfing – not really but it was pretty good fun and I will definitely be giving it a go again. Also was seriously easy for the gf (she gave up the surfing on day 2), she just went and did the yoga at the end of every day after sunbathing on the beach!
