Set in the stunning grounds of the Georgian country estate Osterley House and Park, the London Flower Show will open its doors for the first time as a celebration of the UK’s blooming and harvest season.

The four-day event will see a unique blend of over 20 stunning show gardens, vivid floral displays and a range of produce growing competitions, showcasing the very best garden designers, industry experts and horticulturalists from across the country and around the globe.

Visitors will be able to sample fresh fruit and vegetables from entrants to the Produce Growing competition, in the biggest and best market garden and open-air delicatessen in London, as well as see cooking demonstrations from some of the UK’s top chefs.

The London Flower Show will be packed full of inspirational planting ideas, floral arrangements, exciting features and a variety of retail displays that will inspire real gardens, extending the gardening season for all its visitors.

Philippa O’Brien, Chair of the Society of Garden Designers said: “The new London Flower Show looks as if it will be a breath of fresh air. Nothing stuffy about this one, it is aimed at a much younger audience than most shows, with plenty for families from growing vegetables to sustainable gardening. Show gardens look set to surprise and delight with lots of gardens designed by SGD members.”

What’s more, there are still a host of ways for horticultural hobbyists, artisans, designers and makers to get involved in the show including the opportunity to compete for cash prizes in a plethora of Produce Growing and Floral Arrangement competitions, so if you’re a budding grower, floral stylist or garden designer, log on to the website now for more information.
