Every year the animals at Taronga Park Zoo in Sydney get gifts in the form of treats and puzzles, and as you see from the photos they’re pretty happy about it.
The zoo calls it behavioural enrichment, and such things are used in stimulating their minds and triggering natural instincts.
But because it’s Christmas, they couldn’t be left out.
The busy meerkats made short work of their pressies, and the tree. Because they can!
