An stuntman walking on the wing of a plane fell

200ft to his death in front of thousands of spectators at an Air Show

in Michigan US on the weekend.

Todd Green, a renowned wing walker, was trying to move from a plane to a helicopter when the stunt went tragically wrong.

He fell off the wing and fell to the ground at the Biennial Selfridge Air National Guard Base Open House &

Airshow in Michigan.

People from all over America attended over the three-day air

show to watch experienced

pilots perform daring stunts.

Some spectators who saw

Green fall initially thought it was part of the performance, until an

announcer revealed that the stunt had gone wrong.

It is unclear if the stuntman slipped or if wind conditions were a factor in the accident.

Green was rushed to Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center but died from his injuries.

He is understood to be the son of a prominent aerial stuntman, Eddie Green.
