UK grandmother Pauline Henderson, 50, was just about to serve her grandson Toby a bowl of Crunchy Nut cornflakes when she spotted something black and rather sinister-looking hiding in the bowl.
Using a spoon, she uncovered a dead mouse resting in peace amid the ‘ludicrously tasty’ snack.
Speaking to Brit newspaper Metro, the horrified gran said the experience had out her off buying Crunchy Nut cornflakes ever again.
“If Toby had eaten it, I could have been rushing him to hospital,” she said.
Kellogg’s are reported to have launched a ‘full investigation’ into the mishap.
