Video: Kazakh national anthem fail surfaces online

As gathered dignitaries stood with hands on heart at the opening of the regional ski festival in Kostanay, the PA blasted out Ricky Martin’s cheese pop classic.

Luckily some of the officials saw the funny side, but failed to start dancing, which must have been a dissapoitment for the DJ or soundman.

Regional government official Nuraly Saduakasov said ‘I want to wish you health, success, prosperity. Good starts and victories.I declare open the 6th Kostanay regional Festival of Skiing’

Another announcer then tells the waiting crowds ‘Attention! National anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Suddenly and unexpectedly out of the blue, it’s party time. See the video below.
