The 27-year-old mother of two, who is facing criminal charges after allegedly placing stickers with anti-Muslim slogans on them (e.g., Halal food funds terrorism) on Nestle products, made a string of fundamental errors.
“I don’t oppose Islam as a country, but I do feel that their laws should be not welcome here in Australia,” she said.
But, thankfully, Mz Banister wasn’t finished there: She went on to claim that “Jews have their own religion, that follows Jesus Christ”.
Swing and a miss.
And that the government’s National Disability Insurance Scheme was working well, despite it not taking effect until 2016.

Mz Bannister also revealed that she doesn’t even know the names of the candidates she’s competing against.
“I’m still learning all of the names of people in politics,” she added.
Three strikes, but Mz Bannister is not out just yet, the Electoral Commission will decide whether she can contest the election, given the criminal case she is currently fighting.
Almost more hilariously than the interview, Mz Bannister has since claimed that “they’ve completely twisted all my words and made me out to be a stand-up criminal and a stupid moron”.
It rather seems from that quote that she’s angry about being made out to be a “stupid moron,” as opposed to say, an intelligent and articulate moron.
She has also claimed she meant “Islamic countries,” which would mean what she meant to say was: “I don’t oppose Islam as a countries,” which still doesn’t make sense.
Or, perhaps we aren’t giving her enough credit, maybe she was talking about the Caliphate? Right?
