If you are all proper stuffed and indulged after Christmas Day but don’t quite fancy hitting the treadmill just yet – or even venturing outside properly – but are determined to ease your way back into the world, then this big budget epic spectacle is the Hollywood juggernaut coming your way.
Starring Christian Bale as Moses and Aussie Joel Edgerton as Ramses II, it tells the story of the exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt. Cue: a suitably gigantic sized proposition as you would only expect from Ridley ‘I made Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and Blade Runner’ Scott featuring plagues, the parting of the seas and all kinds of mega-carnage of truly biblical proportions. It’s Hollywood moviemaking on the biggest scale possible, and with it coming with a sumptuous 3D presentation as well, it is a big screen event not to miss out on.
