Guns N’ Roses’ tour has been cancelled, according to a Tweet from Axl Rose, the band’s frontman.

Last night, a Tweet from Rose’s account at said: “All upcoming Guns N’ Roses dates are officially cancelled. Please contact your place of purchase for any refunds.”

The official Guns N’ Roses website is still listing the festival appearances and October’s gigs at London’s O2 Arena, Birmingham’s LG Arena and the Manchester MEN Arena as part of the band’s Chinese Democracy World Tour.

Guns N’ Roses have not yet made an official announcement about whether their tour really is cancelled.

“Still in rapid city Buying guns with Axl, just bought me a smith & w. 44 snub nose!! America F%#k yeah!”

Twitter is awash with fans wanting to know the truth about the Guns N’ Roses tour being cancelled.
