Katy Perry mocks Sesame Street on SNL

Katy Perry appeared on Saturday Night Live taking the piss out of her Sesame Street ban.

Perry took part in a skit pretending to be a 16-year-old librarian in boob-baring Elmo top. In the mock chat show, Perry hammed it up as a gun-chewing teenager who was embarrassed to find that her boobs had “developed over the summer”.

“What the hell happened to your shirt? Looks like today’s show was brought by the number 38 and the letters double-D,” mocks one of the hosts.

Perry’s SNL skit came after a planned appearance on Sesame Street was pulled after complaints that the singer had too much cleavage on show.
