The star kept to her word – she stepped straight out of her hotel in a see-through pink bra and PVC trousers and was driven to The Sea Shell of Lisson Grove restaurant in north London.
Gaga was snapped ordering her dinner at the counter, and even had seashells in her hair in a nod to the diner’s name.
Gaga plays a special show at the 3,300 capacity venue as part of the iTunes festival – with reports that the production costs of the show are around £500,000.
The gig is thought to mark the launch of the star’s third album, Artpop.
An unnamed ‘source’ told The Sun: “The gig in Camden has a huge budget and is likely to be the first anyone sees or hears of her album. The Haus Of Gaga team have been working in secret on costumes and stage sets for the show from their base in Paris.
“Gaga’s dancers have also been rehearsing but she’s only told her closest friends about the new direction she’s taking. The music is going to be a big departure and Gaga’s dreamed up a whole new image for the album.”
She told Kiss FM last week: “At iTunes at the Roundhouse we will be revealing one of the collaborations that we’re doing and I’m excited for everyone to see that.”

Gaga performed her new single Applause at the MTV VMAs, prompting Will Smith and his family to react like this.
A reaction which was incorrectly attributed to Miley Cyrus’s equalling eye-opening performance. See the full performance of Applause in the video below.
