Labelled ‘mega blizzard’ by parts of the Aussie press, weather watchers say the ‘storm of the century’ will last for up to 10 days.
The ski season officially started two weeks ago but there’s been little snow until now at major NSW resorts like Perisher and Thredbo, while resorts in Victoria have had absolutely none.
A metre of covering (or more) is expected by this time next week.
