Pregnant Brittany Songer, 23, her fiancé Cory Long, 31, and Ms Songer’s two-year-old son decided to grab some fast food on April 26, and the couple ordered two McDoubles.
However, when Ms Songer bit into her burger, she soon noticed that something was awry.
“It tasted bad […] then I opened the burger and the cheese was just covered with weed,” she told the Ottumwa Evening Post.
They were so outraged by the added ‘seasoning’ the couple then marched down to their local police station to report the burger’s added ingredient.
They’ll probably go elsewhere next time they get the munchies.
