The study, commissioned by UKBathrooms.com, didn’t count medical or health-related issues, but did include alcohol-related accidents.
Londoners were the worst offenders, while the South-East and Scotland also made it into the top five.
The boys were more likely to wake up in a puddle of cold urine, with 67% men admitting to being bedwetters. Just 33% of women interviewed said they’d wet the bed.
Finally, 5% of bedwetters said they experienced the problem once a month – or more. Yikes.
