Perth in 2-3 days
You don’t have much time so you’re going to have to get cracking.
Day 1
Head straight to the Scarborough beach for a swim, a lazy spot of sunbaking and a stroll along the sand. If you’re feeling adventurous, take a surfing or kite surfing lesson for some extra thrills and spills.
At night, head into Subiaco and sit down to a meal at one of many fine restaurants (see the Food and Drink section).
Day 2
Explore more of Perth with a trip into the CBD via the Swan River, then make a beeline for Fremantle with its cosmopolitan vibe, funky bars and restored dock precinct. Little Creatures brewery is hard to beat for nosh and drinks.
After dark, head into the city or dip a toe in the thriving after-dark scene in neighbouring Northbridge.

Pack the car, get an early start and head ‘down south’. Mandurah is a charming marina town and, further south, the beaches and wineries of Dunsborough, Busselton, Yallingup and Margaret River are simply stunning.
