A poll carried out by Galaxy for The Courier-Mail on the evenings of February 20 and 21 of 800 Queenslanders found that a 14 per cent boost for Labor would follow were Rudd to be reinstalled as leader in place of Julia Gillard.
This would see them take a 55 percent to 45 percent victory over Tony Abbott’s coalition in the next election, were voting preferences from 2010 to be repeated.
“The reinstatement of Kevin Rudd as leader would be the real game changer,” said Galaxy chief exec David Briggs.
