“Just before I go any further I would just like to thank you all for my support…for your support,” the Australian entertainer told the festival audience.

“I didn’t say it very well, but you know what I mean. Thank you for your support, I will always wear it.”

Harris, who is a regular at the small-scale Wickham Festival, headlined this year by Dexys and The Waterboys, brought in a crowd of over 2,500 on the main stage, performing his hits Tie Me Kangeroo Down Sport, Two Little Boys, Sun Arise and more.

Harris, 83, was first arrested in March by Operation Yewtree officers. Met Police said he had been “further arrested in connection with further allegations”.

Harris has not yet been charged and denies any wrongdoing.
