Students invent gloves that turn sign language into speech

The students’ project, called EnableTalk, is one of six finalists at Microsoft’s Imagine Cup, and is estimated to come in at a perfectly affordable $75 per unit, as opposed to other similar devices on the market that cost considerably more, sometimes up to over $1200. 


The students’ group, called QuadSquad, came up with the idea after interacting with hearing-impaired students at the school.
