Tom Hardy, aka Bane from The Dark Knight Rises, will be playing Max, and he’ll be joined by Charlize Theron, who will be starring as Imperator Furiosa (she of shaved head and impetuous temperament, in case you’d forgotten).
Good news if you loved the first film – Miller has confirmed that this will be an ‘extension’ of it, and it’ll basically be one big, violent car chase, replete with fireballs, fast cars, and lots of witty one-liners, if the trailer is anything to go by.
However, it is not known if Tina Turner will return to play Aunty Entity. We can but hope.
