Mark Brown has released a video online asking people to help him free his racoon Rebekah, who he had kept and raised.
“Rebekah is still in captivity and will be used as an educational tool, to show around the state at local schools and colleges,” Mark says in the video.
“Rebekah will continue to live out her life in captivity.”
Mark has petitioned the local governor Bill Haslam to have Rebekah released from captivity and to be allowed to her have her return to live with him.
He has set up a fund that people can donate to in order to help him with the legal fees needed in his campaign.
