Malema was suspended after being found guilty of provoking divisions within the ruling party and for bringing the ANC Youth League organisation into disrepute on Thursday.
It was reported that Malema conveyed his message to supporters in Limpopo after he finished writing his exams.
Malema said the gloves were off and that it was time to confront and fight the enemy.
Malema was not in Johannesburg when his suspension was announced, because he was writing an exam at the Polokwane campus of the University of South Africa.
Malema said to his supporters that even if he is not the ANCYL president, the masses needed to continue the good fight.
